MY WORKS AT THE LONNSTROM ART MUSEUM
I am thinking about human fates, justice and equality, but in my paintings
feelings and colour rise to the front. Melancholy can stay in the background.
Most of my paintings have been painted with oil paints.
Yet there are motifs that are suitable for watercolour-gouache technique:
more reduced, to be surveyed at a closer distance.
I use watercolour and gouache paints together or accomplishing each other,
depending on the desired impression.
At Lonnstrom's I am displaying a collection of watercolor-gouache paintings.
The exhibition includes also an old modified peasant chair
accomplished with Edgar Allan Poe's Raven and portrait of my father.
Accordingly it is dedicated to my father.
