LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD  GROUP EXHIBITION IN LAHTI ART MUSEUM  11.2. - 25.4.2011                  Surrounded by Heli Tuhkanen's paintings and  sculptures one is puzzled with a strange feeling of familiriaty. And yes indeed, it seems Tuhkanen is adapting imagery of early Renaissance paintings.    Dead Christ is now a woman dressed in black and a man with a boy have taken Holy Virgin´s place on the narrow canvas.    Characters in the dreamlike paintings live like martyrs midst choices and expectations.    - Maria Ollikainen, Etelä-Suomen Sanomat
